History of Pitneze Labradors

From the age of nineteen (38 years on) we have owned a number of working Labradors and English Springer Spaniels.

As a keen shooter and clay pigeon shooting all my Labs and Spaniels were workers and very good company to have around, as well as being pets raised with our four children.
We lost the last of our Labradors (Jet) four years ago aged 8 years with cancer and the last of our Spaniels (Blue) in October 2005 aged 11 years.

After the sad loss of Jet we decided to take up the hobby of showing Labs we started off with a five generation chocolate boy Budd in 2003, soon after we bought in a yellow girl Amber (Carpenny Orange Blossom) from Penny Carpanini and a black girl Misty (Cedartree Mrs Nupkins) from Mick and Jean Causton.
In 2005 we bought in a black boy TY (Oakglen Rum'n Black) from Geoff and Cathey Hatfield these pups are the foundation of Pitneze Labradors.

In December 2005 we decided the time was right to have our own litter these were born on the 3rd of March 2006.
Amber was mated to Leigh Lesley's (Steeleigh American Express JW) she had a litter of ten 5 blacks and 5 yellows.
